The Light we keep

(2026)
That light between the clouds. When the sky glows once more in coral and apricot, while below the heath slowly darkens.

Above all, I wanted to capture this vastness in this work: the expansive sky, the dark clouds, the last warm light in between, and the many colors of the heath.

The Light We Keep is the major work in my new series The Season Between. A little bit of summer still, a little bit of autumn already. And precisely that moment in between, when the light changes.
