 Light Draped in Water is an abstract work that uses flowing, pastel layers of color, like light softly draping over water. The movement in the painting evokes reflections, transitions, and the interplay of stillness and energy.

 The work combines the gentle with the strong. It plays with typically "delicate" colors and forms without losing its presence. A conscious break with the notion that femininity equals fragility.
