Flowing into Dusk
(2025)
The surface of the sea is familiar to me.
(I often sit there for hours when I'm allowed to, or when I have the time.)
It never stays the same.
Sometimes soft, sometimes demanding,
always in motion.
It holds the light, even when it withdraws.
Within her, the day dissolves, not as an end,
more than just a transition to night.
"Flowing into dusk" tells this story:
From trust in softness,
into what carries.
But also of darkness as a space that belongs.
